ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence software that's becoming increasingly popular, is now being offered for bicycles, and EBIKE brand Urtopia plans to develop an electric bike with ChatGPT integration, calling it a "thinking bike". It may seem strange to you, but it looks more like a Siri-like advanced utility program that will help you navigate unfamiliar cities without having to stop and fiddle with your phone while riding. It can also offer sightseeing suggestions for cyclists who are in need of a ride.
The bike has a high-brightness LED display that makes it easy to view on-screen information even in direct sunlight. Urtopia's spokesperson said that the AI voice control works through two noise-canceling microphones, so the ChatGPT can clearly hear the rider's voice of command (in theory) even on busy city streets.
Urtopia hopes that the AI will not only provide help for things like daily commuting but also help with directions for exploring and traveling ahead. Imagine one day, if you don't know where to go or how to get somewhere, just ask your bike.
