British Ebike Brand EBCO Resumed Operations After The Pandemic

The British e-bike brand EBCO, recently founded in 2010, has announced that it has restarted its business after the pandemic. They returned with a revamped website, major improvements to new products and technical features.

For 2023, the new range of electric bikes has a sleeker look with a built-in LG battery and a more modern, looser geometry for a frame to improve handling and comfort. They've also added more frame sizes, which is good news for smaller or taller riders.

All new models use Bafang motors. Electric bicycle products are divided into three series: Urban, Street and Adventure.

With a focus on functionality and style, the Urban series is geared towards commuters, with hub motors and mid-mounted motors available. Each Urban bike comes with a luggage rack, fender and lights and starts at £1599.

The Street series of e-bikes is more compact and seems to have taken some stylistic inspiration from the BMX. There is also a choice of hub motor or mid-mounted motor, with prices starting from £1699.

The Adventure range is inspired by mountain bikes and is equipped with wide tires for off-road use. Interestingly, none of these bikes use a suspension system, with the range starting at £2399.

Commenting on the relaunch, Chris Needs, Head of EBCO UK, said: "We are very pleased to announce that we are back in the market after the challenges posed by the pandemic. Our new range of bikes is a significant improvement over the previous ones, and our team is more experienced. We remain committed to providing convenience and quality services.
