On November 26, 2022, citing technology media InsideEVs, Chinese electric bike company SUPANDA Electric recently launched a new product called HALEI. This electric bicycle is mainly aimed at urban residents, providing them with a reasonable, affordable and sustainable urban commuting solution.
HALEI e-bikes are equipped with mechanical disc brakes from Tektro, with 180mm oversized rotors, so there will be better braking.
It also features an eight-speed Shimano drivetrain that lets you pedal seamlessly with the electric motor. The HALEI also features a compact and quiet 500W hub motor with a peak output of 900W. There's also a thumb-operated accelerator and nine levels of pedal assist.
In terms of batteries, HALEI uses a 10Ah, 482Wh battery pack, and the maximum cruising range can reach 32 miles (about 51.5 kilometers) under a full charge. In terms of weight, the battery weighs 3.1 kg, and the total weight of the e-bike is 22.6 kg. The HALEI rides on 27.5-inch wheels with double-walled alloy rims.
