1. For the use of Cross Country Mtb Bikes transmission, first of all, it is best to explain that friends who have not thoroughly studied the structure of the transmission should not adjust it by themselves. The blind operation may cause the transmission to work in poor quality or even fail to work.
2. Make sure that the position of each wire tube is correct, that they are all stuck into the bayonet of the frame, and that the shifting cable is also installed correctly. Then tighten the shift adjustment screw and loosen it back 3 turns, and adjust the adjustment screw on the shift lever similarly. Pull the cable as straight as possible and tighten the brake cable retaining screw on the rear derailleur.
3. Move the lever to the middle gear, such as the 4th gear. Then adjust the shift adjustment screw on the rear derailleur. When the chain is on the corresponding tooth piece, the guide wheel and the tooth piece are on the same plane
4. Adjust the limit screw: The function of the limit screw is to prevent the chain from falling out of the smallest piece of gear or getting caught between the flywheel and the wire.
5. You can adjust the smallest piece of gear first. Loosen the shift wrench to the lowest gear. See if the smallest gear and the guide wheel are on the same plane. Otherwise, adjust the screw. Usually marked with H. adjusted to the same plane.
